Continue on EtsyThis is really a gorgeous clutch and in lovely condition, especially considering it's age. It is Nishijin style and I bought it in the Nishijin area of Kyoto. The chain handle tucks in. There are a slip in pocket on the inside and it clicks closed in a satisfying way. :) It is so shiny! I see it in a burnt orange most of the time, but as you can see in the pictures it appears to change colors in the light. Those pictures were all taken just a few seconds apart no touch ups, just an interesting fabric that looks different depending on how the sun hits it.
I purchased this in Kyoto at a shop on Sango Shopping Street in the Nishijin area.
