Japanese Kimono Silk Earrings with Wood and Glass Pearl: Set of 3

In our effort to upcycle Japanese textiles, we end up with lots of lovely little pieces, often with great patterns, like these and we are committed to zero waste and these earrings are the perfect way to use those lovely pieces! I am an avid embroiderer so we had these little hoops on hand as well as the glass pearls at the top. The wood hoops are 1" but the fabric and color of metal used varies. The leaf/flower pattern is from a chirimen silk kimono I bought in Kyoto that has a four season design and I selected sister designs for this pair, a blue flower and a red flower. The second pair is a black and gray patterned chirimen silk from a haori I bought in Nara. The third is a red rinzu color on color pattern from a nagajuban I bought in Kyoto. They hang about 2.6" long. If you only want one (or want a pair in another fabric) let me know and I can custom make it.
