Benizakura Silk Kimono Clutch, Rhinestone Jeweled Frame Purse, Hand Beaded Evening Bag, Silk Lined

This bag is stunning! I made it from a silk kimono I got in Kyoto (it had stains that the owner said they couldn't get out) and this bag gives it a fabulous new life. It has a gold rhinestone closure and hand beaded rhinestone accents one the bag (placed in odd numbers, which is lucky in Japanese culture). It has a sturdy foam lining. The outer fabric has a rinzu, woven jacquard pattern, with a shibori style for the sakura area and a black line drawing of sakura on the back (and on the inside pocket). The inside lining is the trim from the same kimono of the bokashi (gradient shading) and a lined pocket made of the exterior fabric. It has a removable heavy chain that can be tucked inside and a handmade charm with a tassel and matching rhinestone beads. It measures 10.5" x 6" and is about 1.5" thick on the bottom.
