Japanese Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth New Purple Mitsukoshi Isetan

This is a commemorative cloth from the brand Mitsukoshi Isetan, commemorating their merger. It is 100% cotton in a deep purple. The tag says it was made by Arakawa Co., a Kyoto based company (which is where I bought it) and says Made in Japan. I bought these at Toji Temple market in Kyoto. I was buying fabric scraps to make kanzashi and these caught my eye. I intended to make wall hangings from them but thought I'd see if anyone would like them as they are before I do that! I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
