Teal Blue Tea Ceremony Japanese Nagoya Obi Silk

This is such a pretty embroidered design, the pottery is just perfect for a tea ceremony. It is a nagoya obi so easier to wear and lighter weight. The whole obi is one medium weight fabric so lighter in general. This is in really good condition and would be perfect for wearing or to use the fabric to make something else. The embroidered design is multi-colored and shiny but not flashy. The fabric is soft. The kimono is listed separately. I purchased this in Kyoto at Toji Temple from one of my favorite sellers because he has a good eye for selling kimonos that are in great condition (and he knows what I love and sometimes sets it aside). I often buy kimonos for the fabric and make it into something else but this is just in too good of condition. It would also make a great table runner or wall hanging. I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
