Chirimen Crepe Silk Women's Kimono from Japan Green Leaves Design

I really love the pattern of this kimono. It has a multi-colored leaf and crysanthemum design in chirimen/crepe silk. The texture is unlike most chirimen silks but it has a similar feel to a more expensive crepe silk so I'm not sure which it actually is. The pattern is common for chirimen. The inside is a softer silk and the bottom portion (hakkake) is lined in an antique violet color. It is about 24" from one underarm to the other in the back and about 60" long. Lots and lots of fabric. :) It is vintage but in good condition, save a few marks on the lining in the area where the two colors of lining meet (see the photo). I do not think this is a very old garment; the outer fabric feels new. This pattern would look great in fall- my favorite season when the maple leaves change and the ginkos are all such a bright yellow! The obi is listed separately. I purchased this in Naramachi from a shop near the handicraft shop where I was getting lessons on kanzashi making (I'm still practicing!) after I spent the morning bowing to the deer. :) I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
