Japanese Bag Purse Green Rabbit Kimono Fabric Kyoto

I purchased the purse just down the road from Nishiki market in Kyoto. This purse is made from kimono fabric. The fabric is new, made from left over fabric from kimono creation. This bag zips closed (pretty zipper) and is made with chirimen silk, a pretty moss green with a rabbit (usagi) pattern. It is lined in beige. Usagi are a symbol of advancement, good luck and cleverness and Japanese culture. The shape is a typical Japanese style with inverted side gussets. The bag measures 7" x 6" x 4" plus the handle height. I added a champagne colored rope strap that is removable (it's short because I thought it fit this style bag but if you want it longer let me know and I can swap it out) and a removable purse charm of wood and metal beads. I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis (I have a couple of orange ones that go great with this kimono!), and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
