Burgundy Geometric Chirimen Silk Women's Kimono from Japan

I really love the color of this kimono (burgundy is my favorite color). It has a burgundy background with a repeating geometric black pattern and the outside is chirimen silk. The inside is lined in beige and the bottom portion (hakkake) is lined in a light antique violet. It is about 22" from one underarm to the other in the back and about 56" long. It is vintage but in like new condition. This pattern would look great in fall- my favorite season when the maple leaves change and the ginkos are all such a bright yellow! Maybe a bit dark but it would be nice with a black patterned obi I think. That said, the color is not quite as dark as the photo shows. The obi is listed seperately. I purchased this in Kyoto at Toji Temple from one of my favorite sellers because he has a good eye for selling kimonos that are in great condition (and he knows what I love and sometimes sets it aside). I often buy kimonos for the fabric and make it into something else but this is just in too good of condition. I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each for free x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis (I have a couple of orange ones that go great with this kimono!), and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
