Japanese Nagajuban Women's Kimono Silk Robe Undergarment

This nagajuban is so very soft. It has an eri-shin in the collar (haneri) to make it stiff (it could be simply removed if you didn't want it- held in with basting stitches) and uses a shibori dying pattern to get the pattern effect. It is a gorgeous art piece and would make a great robe or jacket on it's own or nice under a kimono, concealing a gorgeous art piece. The collar is white but the robe itself is a pale pink/beige. It is completely lined in the thinnest softest silk. It has a few small light marks, show in the one photo and one 1/2" dark spot at the back of the neck but it's in great condition for a vintage piece. It is 24" from under one arm to the other in the back. It is 48" long. I purchased this in Naramachi from a shop near the handicraft shop where I was getting lessons on kanzashi making (I'm still practicing!) after I spent the morning bowing to the deer. :) I brought back lots of items from Japan on my last trip (two checked bags each for free x 3 people... it was something) and I have lots more kimonos, kanzashi, obis, and purses/bags that I'll be listing as I get to them.
